Where to begin?

Maybe you’ve had a history project on your mind for years, but have never had the time to get it started. Perhaps you feel overwhelmed on how to put your ideas into a final presentation? This is where Deeper Well can help. The first step is simply talking. We offer a one-time, free consultation either by phone or in person where we will discuss the following:

  • What is your project goal?
  • What do you most hope to learn/uncover?
  • What resources do you have? (photographs, documents, video footage, etc.)
  • What do you want as the final presentation?
  • How can we work within your budget?

Based on our discussion, we’ll develop a proposal outlining your project’s scope of work, associated costs and deliverables. Once the details are finalized and agreed upon, then we’ll sign a project agreement that holds us both accountable. From there, we’ll develop a timeline.

Now comes the exciting part: we’ll get to work and the end result will be a book, video, presentation or exhibit that you can proudly share with family and/or clients. We don’t use cookie-cutter formulas or templates. Your project will be crafted just for you and represent your unique story.

What does it cost?

Several factors are considered with this kind of specialized work. It’s impossible to quote without knowing precisely the scope of work for your project. I typically estimate prices by an hourly rate. I often serve as the “project manager,” researcher and archivist and work with a variety of professionals to provide you with the services you need – for instance, videographers, transcriptionists, graphic designers and photo scanning services. Let’s talk and get started telling your story!
